NoteItDown is a note taking application for Windows which is capable of creating RTF notes. These are rich notes that can include different fonts, styles and colors, headings and so forth to make a note easier to scan. All notes are saved automatically once they have been newly edited. There is a search function to find what you are looking for within a series of notes. Notes can be grouped in a tree-like structure which displays on the far left of the application window. Notes can then cascade down in the order they are created. NoteItDown is also a portable application, so it can be placed on a USB flash drive without an issue, so you can take your short notes with you without an issue.
