MP3Coder is a conversion utility that converts WAV music files to MP3 formats. It's possible to keep things simple by using presets when working with MP3 files. There is a filename editor and a ID3v1 tag editor too. There are newer ID tags, but the app is not confirmed as able to edit those too, which may be something worth considering. Both MPEG1 and MPEG2 formats are supported for conversion. Bit rates for audio quality run from 8 up to 320 kbps. Confirmed as working with with Windows 2000, ME, NT, 95, 98, and XP. The app has a 10 day trial period.
