"FitLife-lose weight, work out, healthy living"

Overview

FitLife is a comprehensive diet and workout tool which allows users to plan calories intake, energy expenditure, adjust the training plan, compare and analyze weight loss progress, identify weak points of the strategy and increase the workout and diet results. If someone is determined to lose weight, diets and exercise become a daily routine. People who count calories have their own charts, black and white lists of foodstuffs and estimated calorie expenditure during particular physical exercises. This application does it all. An extensive database of foodstuffs with calories count offers a great variety of options to create your daily diary and track calories consumption. Track your workout history, body mass index, weight loss, and plan ahead. This app makes it possible to compile recipes, view and print out charts and graphs and many more. If you are obsessed with healthy eating and exercise on a daily basis, you might want to give FitLife a try.

Installation

Installation wizard needs a linguistic makeover. I was anticipating an equally crooked language in the interface, but fortunately the developers did a better job on it. The pack does not have any bundled adware with it.

Interface

At first glance, interface is awkward. There happen to be graphical inadequacies in some windows, where some areas are completely blank while necessary buttons are barely visible and look like they do not fit into the window. As you get used to the amount of menus, everything becomes clearer. People who count calories with every food intake and exercise will probably feel at home with this program. There are video tutorials for almost every feature of this program. You can watch a tutorial on how to create daily food intake, recipes, etc. The recipe section in the demo version is empty. The lists of foodstuffs and beverages look complete with major brands and their products with calories counted. The menu also offers a shopping list creation, and a lot of charts, graphs, surveys and outputs to create. There is an option of password protection of your account. The demo version offers a single user access only.

Pros

A multitude of Menus and features to dig into:
- Create daily food intake record with graphs and total calories intake.
- A large database of foodstuffs. Add your own recipes, edit existing meals.
- Comprehensive management of food database.
- Compare, create charts and surveys of your food intake, workouts over a set period of time.
- Plan weight loss strategy.
- Feature to protect your data with a password in case there is more than one user.
- Multiple user accounts are available in the full version.

Cons

Interface seems to be the major con for FitLife. Besides graphical bugs, there are obvious Grammar and spelling mistakes which do not appeal to the English speaking audience.

Conclusion

This program was obviously developed by a workout geek. Anyone who dedicates a lot of time to counting calories, working out in gyms and exercising outdoors, setting weight loss goals and sweating to achieve them will probably appreciate this app. Nevertheless, you may find you need time to get used to its interface. This program may be a nice solution for personal trainers and fitness clubs and dedicated individual users.
