SortSite Professional 1.04 Publisher's description
SortSite Professional allows web site builders, owners and consultants to check entire sites for standards compliance and quality issues.
It's simple to use: just type in a URL and click Check. SortSite follows links, checking each page it finds, then produces a report listing every problem.
The 300+ quality checkpoints include:
- accessibility (W3C WCAG 1.0 guidelines)
- usability (Usability.gov guidelines)
- broken links and anchors
- HTML validation (HTML 2.0, 3.0, 4.0, 4.01, XHTML 1.0, 1.1)
- CSS validation
- legal compliance (EU and US law)
- search engine optimization (Google, MSN and Yahoo search guidelines)
- browser compatibility (Quirks mode, CSS layout problems, unimplemented tags, unsupported graphics formats such as transparent PNGs on IE6)
What's new in this version: Improved issue reporting; fixed some false positives; improved report formatting; added additional rules.
