Point of Sale (POS) for osCommerce is a virtual sales terminal which allows to handle orders from additional sales channels beside your online store. With the help of Point of Sale you (or your sales staff) will be able to take orders by phone or personally from your customer. All information will be added to your store database as regular orders.

What Point of Sale (POS) for osCommerce can offer you:
1. Actual Point of Purchase
Handle customer phone orders: create an order, charge money, send/print receipt or invoice, further order processing.
2. Notify Customers via email
Let the customers know when the status of their order is changed. Order notification, status change notification, receipt and invoice can be emailed upon customer request.
3. Offline Sales Process Automation
You won't need to use your inconvenient regular store administration section. POS allows to create orders, charge money, proceed with further order actions on ONE page.
4. Increase Amount of Sales
POS software allows you to register several sales managers, so few people can sell products. Point of Sale gives them the ability to work simultaneously or in turns.
