Simplenote for iOS is a iPhone and iPad version of Simplenote that has recently been updated. It excels at managing plain text notes, being able to add tags, run searches, filter results, and more. Notes can be shared with others or notes can be added on behalf of others users. There is a free version and a premium version too. Keep up to 10 old version of edited notes (30 with the premium version). Send new notes over email, use your notes as an RSS feed and sync notes to Dropbox; all added features with premium subscription. The software is now cross-platform with Android, OS X and other platforms getting a taste of Simplenote too. Does lack formatting opens on plain text notes, whereas other note taking text apps offer this feature. This one of the most sticky apps on iOS.
