3D Shell Extensions can speed up your workflow remarkably. A folder which contains 1000 models displays thumbnails for all of them in about 3 seconds!

3D Shell Extensions is the set of Windows Explorer add-ons; they enable 3D models preview directly in Windows Explorer or in any standard "Open..." dialog box. More than that, you can preview your models directly in the Windows Explorer window; just place your mouse over a model file and you will see how it looks.
