HSLAB Print Logger SE 5.4.0 Publisher's description
Control your printing costs by setting quota for printing! Ideal print tracking solution for business, enterprise, small business, small office, personal, family usage. The Print Logger quotas software is intended for a a print management for printers at print server, based on Windows operation systems family. The Print Logger inspects the print jobs on a computer, where Print Logger is installed. Main purpose of the program - collection of the information about sizes (in pages) of local print jobs and record it to the database for the subsequent analysis or creation reports about printing activity. As enterprise level software, The program allows you remote access to the statistics using any web browser or client software. Administrator can set access rights for the remote users to the statistical information about print jobs. Access rights can be defined being based on a login name, user's group membership or on IP address of a computer from which request the information. Such as client components using TCP/IP protocol as a transport, information can be accessed using local area network, wireless network or any IP-based network including Internet. The HSLAB Print Logger can also inspect sizes of print jobs based on defined quotas and prohibit printing, if the quotas are exceeded (cost recovery and audit print). Quotas for printing is very effective and powerful mechanism for disbursement management on printing in your company. Limiting printing activities for some employees, you can really save on a toner for printers, paper (especially at a color printing), charges for repair and service for printers.
