It is useless to install dozens of programs on your computer, if they seriously cut down on system performance. Many applications automatically run during system startup, and sometimes they don't even bother to get you informed.

If your Windows takes a lot of time to load at startup, then the problem most likely relies on the fact that there are too many startup items (and most of the times you don't even need all of them).

What you need is a tool that lets you organize the processes that load with the operating. Such an instrument is known as a startup manager, and one example is simply called Starter.

Starter enables you to check the programs that load during system startup and choose which ones preserve their spot and which go.

If you are inexperienced in this area of the computer, then it's probably best you didn't interfere. It is quite easy to disable some essential applications or registry files that Windows can't run or runs poorly without.

All the information displayed in the user interface may seem a bit daunting at the beginning, but it is nothing to be scared of. You can access and modify startup folders, registry files, and INI files.

Disabling a startup item is done at the click of a button, as well as editing and accessing file properties.

When Starter is active, CPU and memory resources are barely used, so you won't encounter any problems in this area.

Apart from its startup managing abilities, Starter can also handle currently running processes and service. Out of many similar applications we have tested, Starter proved to be among the best of them.
