Skype is available for BlackBerry, smartphones and for Apple computers, but the ability to use this powerful communication tool from a regular USB flash drive in a convenient and user-friendly way is still not provided by Skype developers.

Portable Skype Launcher - the utility for launching Skype from a flash drive. Run your Skype application directly from your portable drive with no need of installation. Carry your Skype profile, settings, history and received files always with you.

We would like to emphasize that our Launcher is not a substitution or replacement of the Skype, but rather environment that allows Skype portability. This Launcher is fully compatible with PortableApps framework and CodySafe environment.

The setup process is simple. If you have Skype installed on your desktop PC you can download and install the Portable Skype Launcher to your USB drive.
When you run this tool for the first time it will suggest copying application and profile from your computer. You will need only to follow the application instructions.
If Skype is not installed on your computer, you will need first to download and install it there. After Portable Skype Launcher makes all necessary copies you can uninstall Skype from your PC.
