Move Me, a migration utility for computers running Microsoft Windows, is the quick, easy, and inexpensive way to move all of your programs and files from your old computer to your new computer, while leaving the new computer's pre-installed software intact.
You will save hours or possibly days of work setting up your new machine, with no risk of leaving data behind. Move Me automatically finds your programs and files. Just run the simple Wizard interface, answer a couple very simple questions, and click Next a few times.
Download the software without cost or obligation and install it on the old and new computer. Move Me examines the data on both systems, decides what needs to be moved, and tells you how much data will be transferred. You decide at this point if you want to perform the migration. In under a minute you can use your credit card to pay the low migration fee via a secure Internet transaction and begin moving your files to their new home.
Move Me can transfer your data over a local area network (LAN), USB (with a specific USB transfer cable), a parallel file transfer cable , a file server (a third computer accessible to both computers, not necessarily at the same time), or removable media such as USB drives.
If you are a power user or network administrator who desires more control over a migration, you will want to explore Move Me's Control Center. The Control Center lets you see what is being moved during the migration and create rules to customize the process.
