Its unique Guided File Excavation Technology (GFETch) helps in locating files and folders lost behind overwritten partitions and even if bad sectors hinder drive access. An exhaustive scan of the drive is performed to locate lost volumes. It search heuristics help locate partitions and folders quickly and recovers data from damaged Super Block, lost Login password, damaged/ deleted/ corrupted volumes/initialized disks, virus attack, disk crash, accidental formatting and creating different file system, missing/corrupted Operating System or software failure, lost partition, missing drives, and even from crashed Linux drives. All found data is presented in a tree structure so that lost files can be copied in a working volume.
