Fuzzy File Find accurately finds the file you want, even when you are not sure of the file name or the file's content. Conventional search technology requires exact matches or wild card characters to find the file you want. Fuzzy File Find uses this a fuzzy seacrh algorithm to seacrh for either a file name or a file with a given word or phrase. Just enter as much information as you know, it will search the computer and display the result. Fuzzy File Find runs on Windows, and can be down loaded and tried for free.It searches all file types, including doc, pdf, xls, ppt, htm and exe

Fuzzy search is the intelligent string search technique that can find matches even when no other methods can! Fuzzy Search is not wild card match, is not regular expression search, is not stemming search or proximity search. Rather, it is proprietary fuzzy search algorithm that uses "Fuzzy Index" to match string patterns. The index tells us how closely matched are two patterns, with 100 % means exact match. When you start a search, you tell the search engine when index value to use. For example:100 % means that the search engine will report only EXACT matches.75 % means that the engine will report names or phrases that are as low as 75% matched. If you can not find what you want, you can repeat the search with a lower index. The end result is a more reliable search and more consistence results. Please come here to learn more:
