"One-stop hard disk data recovery software"
EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional edition is the next step up from the free edition that the company offers which comes with a 2GB data recovery restriction. Not such issue here. The 30 day trial means you can get going with your data recovery early. Only if you really have regular data loss problems will you need to full version which isn't priced much less than a hundred dollars.
Data loss can come from accidental deletion, but it can also occur when a piece of malware or a virus wrecks havoc across your storage devices deleting files and removing partitions leaving a digital mess in its wake. At such times, you'll be glad that you have access to software like EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional.
The installation of EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional goes smoothly. It can tell if you already have another version of their data recovery software installed and will offer to remove it if you do. The same bolded warning appears during installation about installing the package to a different hard drive than the one where files need to be recovered from (presumably the installation could actually end up overwriting some of the data you'd wish to be recovered). 22.3 MB is needed for full installation. No sneaky extra software like adware or a toolbar came with the Professional installation (the Free edition was clean too).
The interface takes pale blue to a new level. The type of file to recover can be selected from a choice of six options. These include graphics, documents, audio, video, email and other types like file archives. There are checkboxes next to each type of file so they can all be checked if you want to search for everything possible that might have been deleted accidentally. Then choose the location where to start looking for files which could be from the root (C:/) or deeper into your hard drive. Clearly, being more selective for where to look for deleted files will save time with the search that the software needs to conduct.

Wise Data Recovery is an alternative free option. It can access hard drives, portable players, USB Flash drives, digital cameras and storage media. Recuva is another free possibility that recovers data from SD cards inside digital cameras, MP3 players, USB drives, and traditional hard drives.
The EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard Professional Edition is a simple way to recover deleted files from hard drives and other media. It is a capable piece of software with a useful 30 day free trial. It is pretty expensive though, to it will pay to look around at your data recovery options before purchase.
