Comodo BackUp makes it easy to safeguard your important files by reducing the usually complex task of backup configuration to a few clicks of the mouse. A straightforward and powerful utility, Comodo BackUp allows users to quickly and easily backup files to any local, network, virtual or FTP drive. A friendly interface and step-by-step wizards guide even novice users through the whole process.

Significant data losses are all too common on PCs. With just one software error or system crash, hours of work can be wiped out. Comodo Backup provides peace of mind by allowing you quickly set up an ongoing backup that will quietly copy your data in the background ? meaning you can get on with more important things. You can schedule a backup to be taken at regular intervals (at a specific time of day or on certain days of the week etc) or upon the occurrence of an certain event such as Windows startup or even when the computer is idle. Selecting 'Synchronization Mode' will enable 'real time' backups - meaning a backup of the latest version of a file will be taken as soon you save a file.

The software also features numerous handy preset backup jobs which provide one-click backup of important items like email accounts, the Windows registry and user data such as the 'My Documents' folder. You can even choose to backup the entire 'state' of your PC. This means you can easily restore your machine to the last working state should your system crash.

Additional features include e-mail reporting, extensive report logs, advanced rule-based filtering, command line and scripting support, space-saving archiving capabilities and the ability to encrypt a backup file using a choice of algorithms. Comodo BackUp is also fully integrated into Windows Explorer so you can add files or folders to a your backup by simply right-clicking.
