History Explorer is easy version control and local backup for the rest of us. For all of us that know how it is to regrett changes we have made to our documents and files. History Explorer makes it easy for you to see when your files have been changed and look at any version of them. History Explorer looks and works much like Windows Explorer except it's designed to let you view the history of your files. With a clean and simple user interface you can regret any changes you have made to files, undelete files or view entire folders as they were as some point in time. Source control has never been easier!
History Explorer isn't primarily for backing up your holiday photos, rather it is for files that you work with and modify - Word documents, Presentations, text files, any kind of project files and much more.
History Explorer is a local backup software that watches selected files and folders for any changes. With a unique user interface you will be able to graphically overview what files you have been working with and when they were changed or deleted. With just one click you can look at old files as they were at any moment in the past.
