Deskzilla downloads bug information from Bugzilla, stores it in a local database, allows you to view and edit bugs and uploads changes to Bugzilla. Additionally, it indexes all downloaded bugs, providing the user with search capabilities and live statistical numbers.
Benefits:
(a) Increased Project Visibility: use issue breakdown structure and live issue counters to monitor and analyze the state of a project;
(b) Greater Mobility: work with local copies of issues while Bugzilla database is not available;
(c) Improved Productivity: save time by using interactive classical application interface.
Key Features:
(a) Offline Availability via cached bug records;
(b) Issue Breakdown Structure with queries and sub-queries;
(c) Instant Issue Counters that provide immediate insight into the state of the project;
(d) Draft Changes allow you to save changes to bugs in the local database and re-edit or upload them to server later;
(e) Visual Merge helps you to merge parallel conflicting changes for a single bug;
(f) UI improvements such as Threaded Comment View;
(g) Aggregating Access to several Bugzilla databases in one rich user interface.
Requirements: 256MB RAM, 100MB HDD, Bugzilla 2.14-2.22+, Sun JRE 5.0
