VintaSoftJBIG2.NET Plug-in is fully functional Codec that allows to decode and encode JBIG2 compressed black-and-white images in .NET environment. This program must be used together with VintaSoftImaging.NET SDK and is designed to extend its functionality. Combination with VintaSoftPDF.NET Plug-in will allow you to decode and encode black-and-white images with JBIG2 compression embedded into PDF documents. JBIG2 is used to code black-and-white documents to reach the best compression. JBIG2 is useful for most compact document storage and archiving. The JBIG2 .NET Codec main features: Generate JBIG2 files (*.jb2 or *.Jbig2) with several compression settings. View any JBIG2 file that has been built in compliance with JBIG2 standard. Works with multipage JBIG2 files. Creates and displays standalone JBIG2 image (single/multi page) or PDF with JBIG2 file. Supports enhanced JBIG2 features: Arithmetic decoding and encoding, MMR decoding and encoding, Huffman standard and user-supplied table decoding. Supports Lossless or Lossy compression. Supports usage of symbol dictionary while encoding and decoding, that provides more effective compression especially for multipage files (textual content) with lossy encoding. Encoding and decoding support for JBIG2 streams in PDF file.

Requirements: .NET Framework 2.0 or higher

What's new in this version: What's new: Fixed image distortion bug in JBIG2 lossy encoding algorithm with enabled symbol dictionary. Optimized memory usage and performance. Some minor fixes.
