With the Advosol OPC DA .NET Server Toolkit, OPC DA servers can be developed completely in .NET, either with C# or VB.NET. The OPC DA D(COM) interface is handled in the OPC DA V2.05 and V3.0 compliant generic server and the application specific features are implemented in a .NET assembly. No COM programming is required. The toolkit is well suited to quickly implement simple servers or create high performance OPC servers with ten thousands of items.
DANSrv based OPC DA servers work on .NET2 and .NET4, in 32bit and 64bit mode. DANSrv is the first OPC DA server toolkit supporting 64bit operation.
Many VB.NET and C# samples are provided. Custom applications can be based on these sample applications or be wizard created. The wizard GUI offers choices for the needed customization functions and creates sample code for the selected features.
The DANSrv toolkit is available in a low cost Standard Editions and a full featured Professional Edition.
