AudioGenie is a fast 32Bit DLL with over 500 functions to read audio file information (like Bitrate, Samplerate, Frames, Duration, Version-Number, etc). The DLL also has functionality to read and write audio file tags like id3v1, id3v2, ape and more. AudioGenie was written in C++, which provides very good performance. AudioGenie works internally with Unicode-Strings.AudioGenie is Freeware. You can download it from the internet and use it for free. The only restriction is, that AudioGenie displays a small popup message for two seconds on project start, to signify that you are using AudioGenie. AudioGenie supports these Formats: MP3-Files | Musepack Audiofiles / MPEGPLUS | Monkey's Audiofiles | Windows Wavefiles | FLAC Audiofiles | OggVorbis Audiofiles | AAC Files | WMA Files | MP4/M4A Files | The following Tags are readable: ID3 Tags Versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3 and 2.4 | Lyrics Tags Versionen 1.00 and 2.00 | APE Tags Version 1.0 and 2.0 | OggVorbis Tags | FLAC-Comments | WMA Tag | MP4/M4A Comments | extended WAV Comments | The following Tags are writable: ID3 Tags Versions 1.0, 1.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 | Lyrics Tags Version 2.00 | APE Tags Version 2.0 | OggVorbis Tag | FLAC-Comments | WMA Tag. There are over 500 functions in the actual Release.
On the Homepage www.audiogenie.net you will find many wrappers for different programming languages, which makes it very simple to use the dll.
