Calc ooReport for .Net is a library of MS Visual Studio 2005/2008 for report generation in OpenOffice.org Calc using Automation (formerly known as OLE Automation). Although Automation can be slow a process, Calc ooReport for .Net overcomes this problem by using highly optimized algorithms so that it is now easy to transfer large volumes of data to OpenOffice.org Calc workbooks. These algorithms use only native data types and early binding to the OpenOffice.org Calc Type Library.

With Calc ooReport for .Net, OpenOffice.org Calc can be an integral part of your application. As a report building and data analysis tool, OpenOffice.org Calc is an excellent alternative to common report generators, and using OpenOffice.org Calc's built-in features can make your reports much more responsive.
