ElcomSoft System Recovery 2.0.2 Publisher's description
Recover lost and forgotten Windows and administrator passwords, enable and unlock locked and disabled accounts by booting from a bootable CD or USB flash drive. Elcomsoft System Recovery instantly resets or replaces forgotten Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 and 2008 Server, and Windows Vista passwords while providing convenient user environment and full hardware compatibility of the licensed Windows PE environment.
Need the original forgotten Windows password to get access to EFS-encrypted files? Elcomsoft System Recovery attempts to recover forgotten Windows and administrative passwords by applying obvious password combinations and performing a dictionary attack, or exports full Windows registry files or passwords hashes for off-line recovery with GPU-accelerated Elcomsoft Distributed Password Recovery. If forgotten Windows passwords are cached in one of the many system or registry files, Elcomsoft System Recovery can retrieve the original forgotten Windows password in just seconds.
Forgot Administrator password? Elcomsoft System Recovery can reset or replace administrator passwords, or assign administrator privileges to any Windows account. Receiving a "Password expired", "Accounts is disabled", or "Accounts is locked" message? Get full access to locked and disabled accounts even if you forgot a corresponding password! Locked and disabled accounts can be fully enabled in just a few clicks, while the inconvenience of expired Windows passwords can be removed forever by triggering the "password never expires" flag.
Elcomsoft System Recovery resets forgotten Windows passwords, replaces forgotten Administrator passwords, enables and unlocks unavailable accounts using the convenient bootable Windows environment. Active Directory is supported by booting the AD server and resetting user passwords on connected workstations. Elcomsoft System Recovery creates full back ups of all modified files and resources, allowing to fully undo the changes in a matter of minutes.
