With Sentry Parental Controls: Total Family Protection, parents can track every instant message (IM) conversation, website visited and application used on their child?s computer. Parents can also control the amount of time their child can use the computer and connect to the Internet. Parents can even control their child?s keyboard and mouse, transfer files, lock and even reboot the computer ? from anywhere.

Parental Controls Over Internet Access

Sentry Total Family Protection is able to filter and block any website with inappropriate content from your child. Sentry enables parents to select, from a list of categories, the type of content to block. From pornography to social networking sites, Sentry offers parental controls over what websites your child can visit.

When Sentry finds that a user has been behaving inappropriately, it will send the parent an email or text-message alerting them of the inappropriate activity. Dependent upon the settings, Sentry can block the website from being seen, take a screenshot of the website, or take no action at all.

Monitor & Control Instant Messages

Finally, a parental control software product that monitors both side?s of your child?s instant message conversations. With Sentry Parental Controls: Total Family Protection, Parents have full control of how Sentry should react when their child participates in an inappropriate chat conversation.

When inappropriate chat is encountered, a parent can choose if they want Sentry to replace the negative word with asterisks, block the message from being seen, close the instant messenger window, or take no action. Sentry can even send you an email or text message alerting you of the specific user and computer that caused the violation.
