iOpus Software has released iOpus Private Internet Gateway (iPIG), a powerful Windows application that keeps strangers from monitoring your email exchanges or gaining unauthorized access to your computer. When you work from a hotel room, a network connection at a client's office, an Internet cafe, or any public location, your data is at risk from hackers. iPIG adds a strong level of encryption protection.
iPIG creates a secure tunnel for your data. Using powerful 256-bit AES encryption technology, iPIG protects email, web traffic, instant messaging, VOIP, FTP, and all inbound and outbound communications at any Wi-Fi hotspot or wired network. iPIG shields your data from even the most sophisticated methods of online spying and snooping. Your sensitive information is protected between your computer and the wireless access point that you're using. Unlike other protection technologies, iPIG works with Wi-Fi, WLAN, 802.11 a/b/g, wired Ethernet, and any kind of Internet connection. iPIG requires no configuration of any kind. Simply start your favorite web browser, email client, or chat software, and switch iPIG encryption on. iPIG grabs all Internet traffic before it leaves your PC, and encrypts it securely. iPIG also works with all major firewall software, including ZoneAlarm and Norton Internet Security.
Public hotspots such as cafes, hotels, and libraries cannot use even the most rudimentary protection such as WEP or WPA. By using iPIG's encryption technology, you can keep your Wi-Fi safe from hackers while you're using your computer in public places.
