dbQwikSite Web Site Generator Introduces New Low Cost Entry Level Editions
TheDevShop Ltd. has just released two new entry level editions of its popular web site generator, dbQwikSite. dbQwikSite is a code generator, that can create PHP, ASP and ASP.net web pages connected to a database. The program allows users to generate fully functional web pages, without the need for programming code. dbQwikSite users concentrate on the design and function while the program handles the programming tasks.
The new editions address the needs of non-professional web authors, offering much of the professional features of the program at a lower cost. The new additions to the dbQwik Family are: dbQwikSite Publisher Edition, and dbQwikSite Express Edition. As the name suggests, Publisher creates display pages. It is perfect for those who only need to show data records, and do not need on-line data entry. Express, is a single scripting language edition of the more advanced Professional Edition, targeted to users who manage a single website.
The new editions lower the entry cost of dbQwikSite and offer an upgrade path to the more advanced editions. dbQwikSite Publisher is the least expensive offering at $39.95 USD and dbQwikSite Express is priced at $99.95 USD. The advanced editions are: Professional which sells for $149.95 USD and Ecom retailing for $179.95 USD.
The new, lower cost editions share the same core technology as their more advanced counterparts. They offer savings by limiting outputted pages to a single scripting language. Users select, PHP, ASP and ASP.net scripting language at time of purchase. These new editions limit the maximum project size. Publisher offers project size up to 50 generated pages, and Express maximum project size is 100 pages. The project size limits are sufficient to handle all but the most demanding of projects.
dbQwikSite offers a total of 5 different editions: dbQwikSite PE (Personal Edition) is a free edition creating branded pages. There are 4 paid editions: Publisher, Express, PRO and Ecommerce, sold for $39.95 USD, $99.95 USD $149.95 USD and $179.95 USD respectively.
