Xenos Software LLC Releases New Version of Server Monitor

Server Nanny is a software based server and network monitoring solution.

Murfreesboro, TN February 11, 2004--Xenos Software LLC has released version 1.75 of Server Nanny. Server Nanny is a software based server and network monitoring system that runs on Windows 2000, XP, and 2003. It will monitor your devices, send problem notifications, and automatically perform corrective actions. There are over 25 monitor types to ensure your servers and other network devices are operating properly. The monitors available include: ping, DNS, Windows service, HTTP, HTTPS, disk space, database, server memory usage, server process count, process memory usage, process thread count, custom script, custom executable, and more.

When a problem is detected the system can send several different types of notifications including: sound, e-mail, network message, custom script, and custom executable. A notification can also be sent when the device recovers, so you always know the exact status of important devices.

Server Nanny also performs actions such as restarting servers, starting/stopping/restarting services, custom script, and custom executable.

The system keeps detailed logs that can be used to generate graphical reports to identify monitor trends.
