June 29, 2004 -- Wasp Factory Records and BitPass are helping to change music distribution with the digital release of almost 100 tracks of music on Mperia.com. Mperia lets Wasp Factory release music quickly and reach its international fans that dont always have easy access to CDs.
Created to let independent artists and labels maintain control of their music and its pricing, Mperia is a site that is changing the landscape of digital music downloads. Mperia is a platform that allows labels like Wasp Factory and artists to upload, price, and sell music directly to fans without restricting distribution rights or limiting access. Using Mperia, artists can sell tracks for as little as 25 cents and still keep the vast majority of their profits.
Wasp Factory's artists Earth Loop Recall, Tarantella Serpentine, Psychophile, Arkam Asylum, The Chaos Engine, Deathboy, and Goteki are currently selling their music at Mperia.
