Veritas Research, Inc. Announces the Introduction of CRAtoolbox™

Veritas Research, Inc., an independent Contract Research Organization (CRO), today introduced CRAtoolbox™, the first PDA-based application geared to the pharmaceutical/biotech industries, at the annual meeting of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in San Diego, CA. CRAtoolbox™ is a customized calculator, converter, and data / process confirmation tool built expressly for monitors by monitors in the clinical research community. The functions of CRAtoolbox™ are able to be customized to match the various clinical research needs within the industry.

Massapequa, NY May 17, 2004 -- Veritas Research, Inc., an independent Contract Research Organization (CRO), today introduced CRAtoolbox™, the first PDA-based application geared to the pharmaceutical/biotech industries, at the annual meeting of the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) in San Diego, CA.

CRAtoolbox™ has been designed to assist clinical monitors with calculations and conversions for on-site Case Report Form (CRF) review. For the very first time, the 15 most frequently performed clinical calculations are together in one place and easy to use.

CRAtoolbox™ is a customized calculator, converter, and data / process confirmation tool built expressly for monitors by monitors in the clinical research community. “After years of watching monitors use scratch paper and pen to confirm CRF entries, we decided to develop a time-saving and consistent way to verify CRF data entries” said Penny Blinder, President of Veritas Research.

The functions of CRAtoolbox™ are able to be customized to match the various clinical research needs within the industry. It allows for Imperial or Metric units for height, weight and temperature, US or European date styles and either 12-hour or 24-hour time format so that it is applicable in the US and abroad.
