Using LanHelper to administrate and monitoring your network.

LanHelper is a network management, network monitoring and network discovery software for office network and home network. This software hasn't server program, you needn't install anything on remote computers.

LanHelper provides a smart and fast scan engine which can find IP address, MAC address, SNMP, NetBIOS and more on LAN or WAN. The integrated IP scanner and LAN scanner enable you to scan a range of IP address or any domain & workgroup in LAN. It's very easy to manage your data in LanHelper. The machine data collected by scan engine is saved to XML file, you can load it again next time the program runs. You can import your existing data into LanHelper, or manually add data one by one. The data can be exported into HTML or CSV format.

Once you have machine data, you can check which computers are online and which computers have been down at any time. At the same time LanHelper will show you whether computer name or IP address have been changed in Status column of the list. Under monitor mode, Refresh Status monitoring computers in LAN/WAN for availability. Once failure or problem is detected, LanHelper will alert the network administrator immediately via E-mail or network message.

Wake-On-LAN feature allows you to boot PCs in LAN & WAN if the PCs support Wake-On-LAN technology. You can schedule Wake-On-LAN tasks in LanHelper or service so boot PCs at a later time when you are out of office.

By using Remote Shutdown you can easily shutdown all computers in LAN. Besides LAN shutdown, you can shutdown and power off computers located on WAN or other subnet in Remote Execute.

Remote Execute allows you to schedule tasks to run periodically or at a later time on remote computers. LanHelper Integrated Command, which is designed for Remote Execute, offers many additional management functions for network administrators, such as power off, lock computer, capture screen, get process and kill process.
