The structure of the personal organizer is logical and convenient. The main features are displayed in the auto hiding Alive Organizer Tree: calendar, contacts, tasks, events, notes and blog; they are also vertically arranged on the left side of the application window. The main section called "Today" displays the tasks for the current date and/or the following several days, thus making it easy to control performance of current tasks and to follow the schedule. Probably the most important feature of Alive Organizer is the task scheduling system, which allows setting task priority (low, medium, high or highest), time intervals, performance rate, status, related contacts and a number of other options. Task scheduling is fully customizable, as well as other features.

The tasks are displayed in the form of table, so that you can easily group and assort them. However, the default settings are tuned to provide the majority of users with maximum convenience. Due to the hierarchical structure of task management it is easy and quick to find certain tasks in subsections and to structure your activity on the basis of your major tasks. One of the users of Alive Organizer says in his testimony, that at first he began to spend more time at work, as the program kept on reminding him of important overdue tasks. Depending on your preferences, you can either keep a diary in Alive Organizer or use the application for web publishing. Password keeping system, RSS news feed, four-day weather forecast and the integrated report wizard add to the functionality of the program. For example, using the report wizard you can print out the “Today” section to make a printed schedule for the day or print out the contacts' cards.
