Type More Accurately and Much Faster with As-U-Type version 3.2

Brisbane, Australia -- November 17, 2005 -- Fanix Software has released As-U-Type version 3.2, an OS-level real-time spell check and speed typing software that works with your keyboard to increase typing accuracy and productivity.
With the spell checking and macro capabilities usually found in high-end word processors, As-U-Type lets you polish the e-mails that you send, the newsgroups messages that you post, and all of your text documents, quickly and easily. Unlike traditional spell checkers that examine your document after you have completed typing it, As-U-Type gives you real-time feedback about your typing errors. And unlike spelling programs that are locked into a single word processor or other application, As-U-Type works with all Windows programs to correct your typos and make you look smarter.
It continuously monitors your typing, watches out for mistakes that you may make such as mistyping (e.g. you slip your fingers and hit a wrong key), Caps Lock key accidentally turned on, un-capitalized names and sentences, misspellings etc. If the mistake is recognized (e.g. you have made it before), As-U-Type will correct it immediately and automatically like it had never happened. If the mistake is unrecognized (e.g. you make it the first time), As-U-Type will signal it, keep track of it and learn it so it can be fixed the next time if you make it again.
As-U-Type also watches out for repetitive text patterns and automatically expands any predefined abbreviation into a longer text. You can assign a frequently used text such as your address, your signature, a difficult technical term, a common phrase etc. for a much shorter abbreviation and whenever you want to type the text, just type in the assigned abbreviation and As-U-Type will automatically replace it with the original text. For example, "tyvm" will be expanded to "thank you very much", "asap" will become "as soon as possible".
The software watches out for repetitive typing tasks and automates them, too. You can assign a series of commands or actions that you perform repeatedly or in a regular basis for a hot key and As-U-Type will carry out those tasks by answering the hot key. For example, you can use a hot key to duplicate a block of text, launch a search to a search engine, write an e-mail, copy and paste multiple clipboard items at the same time etc.
