Transnet Wireless Corporation Launches a Wi-Fi Hot Spot Distribution Program for Wireless Network Expansion
Transnet Wireless is establishing a national network of Wi-Fi Hot Spots through an innovative distributorship program. These systems are designed to provide high-speed internet access, e-mail and wireless (Wi-Fi) internet access to the public for a small fee, payable by cash or credit card. They are also Wireless Access Points (Hot Spots), where up to 100 users with a wireless-ready laptop can simultaneously receive wireless internet access within several hundred feet of the unit. The machines have other income sources including interactive advertising and e-commerce.
Plantation, FL June 7, 2004 -- "This industry is currently experiencing tremendous growth throughout the U.S. and the world" said Bradley Cartwright, President of Transnet Wireless. He noted that one of the most crucial aspects of their program is the Wi-Fi provider alliance. Distributors are automatically included in one of the largest wireless networks in the world. Existing roaming agreements give distributors immediate access to millions of wireless subscribers. The provider alliance includes industry leaders such as Sprint, iPass, GRIC, and Airpath Wireless.
Transnet Wireless is building its wireless network through an innovative distributorship program where their distributors operate and maintain their own Wi-Fi Hot Spots within their region. "The Transnet Wireless program is by far the most comprehensive in this industry. The system is designed specially to maximize the distributors income by including only the most profitable applications and avoiding unprofitable and costly features" said Cartwright. "Our program includes the most versatile machine, innovative software, and such vital components as location assistance, professional installation, technical support with Network Operations Center coverage 24 hours a day - seven days a week, and a 1-year warranty covering both parts and on-site labor."
This is an opportunity to get in on the ground level of this exciting new technology said Cartwright. "Nearly every new laptop and PDA sold today is Wi-Fi enabled. Tens of thousands of Hot Spots are being set up in airports, hotels, cafes, marinas, truck stops just about anywhere people congregate. Big companies and small startups are rushing to get in on the action, giving the market a Wild West atmosphere." Corporate giants like Intel and Microsoft are investing billions of dollars in the development and marketing of Wi-Fi technologies.
