Translate Words with Software that Makes Modern Communication as Simple as the Move of a Mouse

December 26, 2009 - Communicating across borders is not always easy even with the help of the Internet. Doing research can be a challenge, too, especially if the exploration of foreign web sites is part of the package. Solutions have been made available via the Internet. Web-based services, such as Babel Fish, allow users to cut and paste text or URLs into the page for translation. Some browsers, such as FireFox, offer translations of foreign web sites.

While these solutions have made some browsing and communicating easier, they still have serious limitations. They require more effort and time, plus they don't always provide accurate results. Sometimes they can't produce any results at all.

A more promising alternative is TranslateIt!, a software program that translates words when users move the mouse over them. This mouse over translation provides immediate answers for users so they don't have to open new Windows or go to any other sites to get the information they need. The advanced technology of the program also allows it to breakdown words that don't appear in the dictionary so a translation can be provided.

The TranslateIt! program translates English, German, Russian, and Spanish. The software can work with many of the existing programs and browsers in use today, including Microsoft Word, ICQ, Outlook Express, Opera, Internet Explorer, or Mozilla Firefox. A Windows and a Mac version of the program are available.
