OLSOFT has released TraderXL version 5.9.8 - all-in-one technical analysis solution for Microsoft Excel. It consists of 146 technical analysis functions, historical data downloads, real-time quotes, neural network-based prediction and data classification, strategy backtesting, portfolio tracking, options chain downloads. TraderXL Package includes the following modules: AnalyzerXL, DownloaderXL, BulkQuotesXL, RTQuotesXL, BacktestingXL, PredictorXL, ClassifierXL, OptionsXL and PortfolioXL.
New features have been added to BulkQuotesXL, OptionsXL and PortfolioXL. New data sources were added to BulkQuotesXL and OptionsXL, Master feature was added to easily insert necessary parameters. Using PortfolioXL it is now possible to group the data by tables, import/export records, open/close Short positions, transfer records from one portfolio into another, download and add dividends, exercise/close derivate, download current prices from different data sources.
AnalyzerXL is a library of 146+ technical analysis functions, indicators and experts. You can automatically build charts for functions with numeric outputs, create and manage macros. Wizard greatly simplifies the procedure of calculation and improves the speed of building trading systems. AnalyzerXL integration with Microsoft Excel provides broad opportunities. It can also be used for educational purposes.
Using DownloaderXL and BulkQuotesXL you can download free historical stock, index, mutual fund, financial futures, commodity futures and indexes data into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. BulkQuotesXL enables you to quickly construct and manage powerful, multi-tickered analytical projects. You can choose several templates to download the data and export it to the world-known formats, build charts and execute your own macros. Technical analysis functions can be automatically calculated. RTQuotesXL downloads free 15-minutes delayed and fee-based real-time quotes into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. RTQuotesXL can be used for real-time charting, real-time technical analysis and monitoring current market situation.
PredictorXL is a neural network forecasting add-in for Excel that quickly and accurately solves forecasting and estimation problems. Its ability to discover non-linear relationships in input data makes it ideally suited for forecasting dynamic systems like the stock market.
ClassifierXL is a neural network add-in for classifying data in Microsoft Excel. Its ability to handle numerous, often-interrelated variables makes it an excellent "data mining" tool for traders.
