The Network, Inc. And Fortress Global Investigations Announce New Service for Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley Ethics Compliance
The Network and Fortress Global Investigations have teamed up to provide a wide of services for companies to help them comply with Sarbanes Oxley.
New York City, NY October 20, 2003 -- The Network, Inc., one of the nation's leading providers of anonymous whistleblower hotlines, and Fortress Global Investigations, a rapidly growing international investigations firm, today announced a strategic alliance to provide corporations with a full service solution for complying with Section 301 of Sarbanes-Oxley.
Section 301 of the corporate reform legislation requires public companies to provide a process for the anonymous reporting of financial irregularities and misconduct, and further requires a process for the retention and "treatment" of complaints received. The Network will provide anonymous hotline services and online case management capabilities, while Fortress Global will provide independent investigations of these allegations.
"As issues are revealed through the hotline, organizations and their attorneys will need professionals with the appropriate expertise and experience to manage investigations in a way that will protect confidentiality while effectively ascertaining the accuracy of the
allegation," said Robert Seiden, President of Fortress Global. "It is critical that the investigation be conducted by an independent entity to ensure credibility and quality and minimize risk to the corporation."
