These characters show her how to create fun in the everyday trials and travails of corporate life. They fantasized with her ways to have and relieve her job stress and in the process they have become her subconscious cheerleaders—her “messengers, communicators and reminders” of office fun. The team of characters ignites Amy’s imagination and brightens her dull serious workday, giving her an entertainingly colorful perspective of office life.
