Besides already available basic functions directed on simplification and acceleration of work with subscriptions to Work Items changes of projects in Microsoft Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) TeamAlerts 1.1 has additional features:

1. Supported by the most popular browsers: Mozilla Firefox, Opera, Internet Explorer.

2. Possibility of creation complex conditions in subscription options using groups of logical expressions.

Only trivial conditions could be created in the previous version of TeamAlerts.

Key features of TeamAlerts:

• Two types of subscriptions: project subscriptions (available only for TFS administrators) and personal (“my”) subscriptions (available for all TFS users).
• Reducing the number of subscriptions; by setting subscriptions to send alerts not to fixed e-mail addresses but to dynamically detected (in runtime) ones.
• Custom e-mail notification templates can be set up.

While creating TeamAlerts, the developers were thinking ought about user convenience in managing subscriptions for users, as the first users were themselves tried to take into account basic wishes from specialists working with TFS. The application adds the functionality to VSTS it still misses, thus making team software development more convenient and synchronized.
