RCS compliments the existing Symco Group family of imaged-based recognition, payment, and remittance software applications. RCS was developed to work seamlessly with Symco Groups CheckImage application or effortlessly integrated into a financial institutions current check capture environment.
The Check Clearing for the 21st Century Act (Check 21) lays the groundwork for the increased use of check truncation. By permitting financial institutions to process checks electronically instead of forwarding the original document, it speeds the collection process, reduces associated costs, and diminishes fraud. Software products such as Symco Groups CheckImage combined with RCS are an important technology solution for banks and credit unions to leverage this new law.
