Symbio Technologies Expands in Canada with New VAR in Montreal
NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y., November 22, 2005-- Symbio Technologies, (www.symbio-technologies.com) an innovator in server-centric computer networks that use low-cost diskless thin clients as workstations, announced today that Omega Technologies of Montreal, Canada (www.omegatechnologies.com) has joined its growing worldwide network of authorized value-added resellers (VARs). Omega Technologies, which recently opened a new office in Toronto, becomes the fifth Canadian company to join Symbio Technologies' international roster of VARs.
"Canada has enthusiastically embraced our approach to server-centric computing," said Roger Del Russo, COO and co-founder of Symbio Technologies. "When we began our VAR network in January 2004, the first company to sign up with us was Systems Aligned in Brampton, Ontario. Since then, we've added four more Canadian companies to our list of 38 VARs worldwide.
"We are delighted to be represented among the 800 companies whose products are sold by Omega Technologies to the health, educational, and government sectors in Canada," continued Del Russo. "Clearly, Omega Technologies recognizes that we have something special that complements their current line of products."
The partnership follows Omega Technologies' recent alliance with the VTN Group, which makes Omega Technologies part of 634 companies throughout the United States and Canada.
