Stimulsoft Reports.Fx creates reports for Flex and PHP

Company, a manufacturer of software for Business Intelligence, specializes in the development of reporting tools for different platforms, announces the release of version 2010.2 of products Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Flex and Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for PHP.

Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for Flex is a cross-platform report generator for using in Rich Internet Applications (RIA). The most advanced technology was used to develop this component. This is Adobe Flex.
Stimulsoft Reports.Fx for PHP is a reporting tool designed for creating reports in the Internet using a client-server technology. Two technologies are combined in this product. The first is PHP script that works on the server-side, which controls the report rendering. The second is the Adobe Flash technology, which provides a universal mechanism for generating reports on any client.

Since the development of products goes concurrently then new features in the products are added simultaneously. What is new in the version 2010.2?
The Bar-code component is added. New versions support more than 25 types of barcodes. One-dimensional and two-dimensional bar codes are delivered. Bar-codes are supported for the viewers and designers.
New versions have the Chart component. On the current moment it supports only one type of chart - Clustered Column. In the nearest future in pre-release versions other kinds of diagrams will be added.
Contextual menus in the report viewer, the report designer on a page and in the report designer in the data dictionary are added. Context menus contain the basic tools to control the functions of the viewer and the designer.
The modified engine of reports is now able to create reports with grouping. The GroupHeaderBand can now be used at full capacity.
It's certainly not a complete list of changes but only the most important ones.
