Software Forces SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists) Service Pack 2, for Crystal Enterprise 9 Released

Software Forces enables dynamic values for parameter pick lists with SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists) for Crystal Enterprise 9 and ePortfolio. Service pack 2 brings several new features.

FOREST HILLS, NY March 31, 2004 –- Software Forces today announced the immediate general availability the second service pack for SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists). Designed for use with Crystal Enterprise 9 -- SPL 2 brings ease of use and performance to published reports, where values for parameters (pick lists) can now be dynamic, retrieved from a data source. No longer will a report designer need to modify the static pick lists in a report and save it back to Crystal Enterprise.

SPL 2 integrates with Crystal Enterprise 9 ePortfolio and supports both View-On-Demand and Schedule. SPL 2 can also integrate with a custom frontend of your choice using our Smart™ API SDK.

"Our customers have asked us for additional ePortfolio look and feel for dynamic parameters. With this second service pack, we’ve addressed this by making available a web styles feature.
