Software Forces SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists) Service Pack 2, for Crystal Enterprise 9 Released
Software Forces enables dynamic values for parameter pick lists with SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists) for Crystal Enterprise 9 and ePortfolio. Service pack 2 brings several new features.
FOREST HILLS, NY March 31, 2004 - Software Forces today announced the immediate general availability the second service pack for SPL 2 (Smart Pick Lists). Designed for use with Crystal Enterprise 9 -- SPL 2 brings ease of use and performance to published reports, where values for parameters (pick lists) can now be dynamic, retrieved from a data source. No longer will a report designer need to modify the static pick lists in a report and save it back to Crystal Enterprise.
SPL 2 integrates with Crystal Enterprise 9 ePortfolio and supports both View-On-Demand and Schedule. SPL 2 can also integrate with a custom frontend of your choice using our Smart API SDK.
"Our customers have asked us for additional ePortfolio look and feel for dynamic parameters. With this second service pack, weve addressed this by making available a web styles feature. Users can choose from six different web styles to apply, including several wizard styles. said Gennady Kleyner, Software Forces product manager.
