SmartMove 1.0 for Microsoft Excel®

ROCHESTER, MICHIGAN, OCTOBER 16, 2007 -- PatLee Corp. announces the release of SmartMove 1.0, a user-friendly tool to make transferring data into Microsoft Excel® faster than ever.

SmartMove, powered by TextStream, is the work of developers dedicated to making it fast and easy to migrate large amounts of data from the web, word processing programs, and other sources into Microsoft Excel®, with the results exactly as you want them. Currently, SmartMove is available for versions of Excel® earlier than 2007. PatLee is working on providing it for newer versions and will have updates when they are ready.

With user-friendly dialogs, SmartMove helps define exactly what information is to be extracted from the data source into a spreadsheet, as well as exactly what is not wanted – in one smooth move, without hours of cutting and pasting information back and forth. The user will define ALL the data, whether it is to be moved into the spreadsheet or not. Customizable dialogs will determine which items will be inserted, and he will use one paste function (SmartMove's Import Data function) to insert the data into his spreadsheet. Tests have shown that projects taking several hours can now be done in minutes using SmartMove. SmartMove also provides the ability to merge more than one item into one field, rather than two or more.
