In order to inspire collaboration between the project manager and the project teams in an MS® Project environment, Seavus Project Viewer now includes Task update functionality. The significance of this new feature is that organizations no longer need server installation to achieve project collaboration. The project team member can update task progress for the past period; hence easily update the project manager on the tasks status. With this unique collaborative feature, Seavus Project Viewer now ensures real-time project status for the teams. On the project manager’s side, the add-in for MS Project allows the project manager to manage reported task progress by accepting or rejecting the updates from the team members. This triggers overall productivity growth, since it provides an easy way for the project manager to track project progress, analyze project team’s performance and optimize resource allocation.
Having in mind the significance of easily found information, Seavus Project Viewer now empowers all of its users to search through MS® Project files. Seavus Project Search is the only tool that enables users to search data such as tasks and resources within the .mpp files. Moreover, users can also search .mpp files from Google Desktop Search as well as Windows Desktop Search. Seavus Project Viewer values the time of all team members, and now with Seavus Project Search, it brings all needed information at hand.
