Search for ASP.NET v3.1 released

Search for ASP.NET provides a powerful search engine for ASP.NET web-sites. Quick and easy to setup, search functionality can be added in minutes. Entirely designer based, it is easy to configure and deploy requiring only its DLLs and index files to be moved to the server.

- 'Did you mean?' Spelling suggestions
- PDF, Word & RTF indexing
- Location / Content categorization
- Rich design-time support
- Weighted stemming
- Windows Service based rebuilds

Improvements in v3.1 (free to v1, v2 and v3 customers)

* Substantial improvement in PDF indexing performance (CPU and memory usage)
* Fixed bugs relating to image based search buttons
* Improved HTML output standards compliance.
* Configuration.MaxDocumentSizeToIndex has been added to allow very large documents to be skipped during indexing. By default it is set to 30MB which means that files larger than this will not be indexed.
