Search Engine Optimization, Inc. Becomes an Affiliate Member of the W3C World Wide Web Consortium.

Company will advise on creating Internet Protocols.

Carlsbad, CA July 21, 2004 -- Search Engine Optimization, Inc., a leader in the search engine optimization field, announced today that it has become an affiliate member of the World Wide Web Consortium.

The World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) was created in October 1994 to lead the World Wide Web to its full potential by developing common protocols that promote its evolution and ensure its interoperability. In just over seven years, W3C has developed more than fifty technical specifications for the Web's infrastructure.

Future goals of the World Wide Web Consortium include:

Other goals of the World Wide Web Consortium are ensuring access to the Web by many devices (PDAs, cell phones, etc.), promoting best practices, coordinating with international regulatory bodies, accounting for cultural diversity, and encouraging research.
