SYCODE launches twenty data exchange plug-ins for Bricscad
Panaji, India / Gent, Belgium – 4th Feb, 2009 - SYCODE today launched twenty file import and export plug-ins for Bricscad.

With these twenty data exchange plug-ins, we intend to give Bricscad users the power to effectively exchange their CAD data with users of other CAD software.” “The plug-ins developed by SYCODE are a very important extension for our customers”, says Erik De Keyser, CEO of Bricsys. “They enhance the Bricsys strategy of providing a broad range of applications to our customers. The Bricscad plug-ins that are being released today are very different from the other IntelliCAD plug-ins that SYCODE currently offers. They have been written from scratch using the superior DRX technology that has made Bricscad one of the most powerful and stable DWG alternatives available in the market today. The plug-ins are designed to work with the Professional as well as Classic version of Bricscad V8 and V9.
“This DRX technology is fantastic”, exclaims Deelip Menezes. “The best part is the intelligent use of smart pointers, whereby programmers are relieved of the duty of freeing memory after it has been allocated by the plug-in code. Memory is released automatically when it is no longer required. This greatly reduces the risk of a plug-in crashing while trying to access an invalid memory location or due to a memory overflow.
