Ronin Software Announces Release of 2006 of the Small Business Advisor Software and 'Starting and Operating a Business in the U.S.' e-book series for each of the 50 states

With the completion in July, 2006 of the e-book edition of "Starting and Operating a Business in Montana," book and software publisher Ronin Software announces the completion of its 51-book series of e-book business startup guides for each of the 50 states and D.C., all released and updated in the last 12 months. The e-book series is authored by Harvard lawyer and former Big 4 CPA, Michael D. Jenkins, Esq. Editions for each of the 50 states are now available, $29.95 each. A 50-state and D.C. Professional Version is also available, for $99, or by subscription ($149) with quarterly updates (12 or 13 editions are updated each quarter).

The e-books are packaged with the free, downloadable front-end software program, "The Small Business Advisor," which creates a customized book in HTML file format for each user, of about 450 pages in length, with summaries of relevant federal and state (for your state) tax and business laws and how they may apply to the user in the user's state. A copyrighted "shareware" version of 4 of the complete books, for DC, ND, VT, and WY, is available as a free download on selected shareware sites.

Based on a user's answers to a few questions about his or her business (number of employees and owners, type of legal entity, gross sales, types of employee plans adopted, etc.), the software uses artificial intelligence techniques to instantly create the customized e-book and an extensive customized Business Checklist (both customized for that user), all based on current federal laws and the current business and tax laws of the state selected.

Designed for small businesses and their advisers, the "Starting and Operating a Business in ...(state)" e-book series is a continuation of the former print editions of the same titles, also by author Michael D. Jenkins, that sold over 1.2 million copies in Costco, other wholesale clubs and leading bookstores, but are now sold only in electronic ("smart e-book") format. Each of the books in this series is fully updated at least once annually. They are the most detailed, comprehensive and authoritative small business tax and legal guides available at any price, in addition to the large volume of non-tax, non-legal practical information they provide on many other small business-related topics.

Ronin Software is currently the only publisher that offers books that provide detailed, state-specific small business tax, legal, and contact information for each of the 50 states and D.C., and as such the books in this series are an invaluable reference resource for law and accounting firms and for other business advisers, as well as for small businesses. In a matter of 1 or 2 minutes, a law or accounting firm or business consultant can create and print out for a new small business client a detailed and exhaustive business startup checklist of tax and legal requirements in their state of 4 to 6 pages in length, tailored specifically to that client's business.

System requirements: Windows O/S and a web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox, etc.), Adobe Reader needed for viewing/printing official forms. Access to Internet not required.
