Remote Desktop Control 2.5
Remote Desktop Control is principally new software for remote control, monitoring, and working on different computers from a single place. The idea behind the program is quite simple - installing the software allows a person (the system administrator, home network guru, etc.) view the monitors of other users in the network and remotely access their computers to launch programs, shutdown or reboot computer or fix technical problems. All this can be done from the office, at home, hotel, well anywhere.
What's new in this program is the wealth of possible applications - from accessing home computer from office (or the other way), to providing remote technical support and helpdesk services, supervision, managing network from different locations, telecommuting, even using the program for hands-on remote education.
Unique Online Gateway service allows the user to access any computer via the Internet without changing any network settings. Tons of files can be easily and securely transferred between PCs located miles and miles away from each other using integrated file transferring feature.
Remote Desktop Control features reliable secure (320-bit RSA authentication protocol and a 64-bit encryption algorithm are used) multiple connections support that won't overburden your network. The connection and data transfer speeds are very impressive. Importantly, with the split-screen technology one system administrator can monitor multiple computers, as well as two or more administrators can control one remote computer at the same time.
Overstuffed with impressive features, like dynamic IP support, firewall compatibility, password protection, capability to run the program as a system service, and task logging, Remote Desktop Control is also known to offer the lowest prices in this segment of software products. The price of a single computer license is from $3 to $25 USD depending on the computer number. Small businesses (5-10 workstations) pay merely 100 to 150 dollars. Installing RDC to 100 workstations costs under $700. Our own internal survey shows that the network administering costs go down 8%-45% after implementing Remote Desktop Control.
