Corsac Software, Inc. has released version 1.0 of Web Image Protector, an easy-to-use Web site image protection software for the Windows operating system that protects Web image resources from unwanted copying.
Every Webmaster is aware of that stealing images from Web pages is not a difficult task. All a visitor has to do is right-click on the image and then save it to his hard drive. From there, the image can be easily grabbed by a Web page authoring tool and inserted into another Web site.
Web Image Protector offers a professional solution for anyone who wants to protect their images on the Web pages from being easily saved or harvested by users. It modifies the HTML source and splits the images into multiple parts, then re-assembles them using tables. The resulting images will display exactly like the originals, but cannot be saved as complete image files. Web Image Protector also inserts Java Script to prevent the user from using the PrintScreen or Print command. In addition, a brand-new backup and recover system enables users undo all the protection anytime.
