Premio Introduces Kaypro C1100 Notebook Computer with Intel Centrino and ATI Radeon 9600 Technologies for Optimal Video Performance

Extending its Kaypro line of notebook computers, Premio Computer, Inc., today launched the new Premio® Kaypro C1100 wireless notebook computer. Featuring Intel Centrino mobile technology and ATI Mobility Radeon 9600.

January 23 2004--Extending its Kaypro line of notebook PCs, Premio Computer, Inc., today launched the new Premio® Kaypro C1100 wireless notebook. Featuring Intel® Centrino mobile technology, the Kaypro C1100 offers superb performance through the combination of ATI Mobility Radeon 9600 64MB video card, DDR333 memory, and Intel® Pentium® M processor with 1MB of L2 cache. The Kaypro C1100 targets education, business and home users who desire a mainstream notebook with robust video and multimedia capabilities.

With stunning Radeon 9600 graphics and a 15-inch, ultra-high resolution LCD display with dual view support, the Kaypro C1100 is ideal for gaming and multimedia applications. Its 8-cell lithium ion battery gives users nearly 5 hours of normal use, with 1.5 hours of rapid charge. Extended battery life is facilitated by ATIs Powerplay feature and Intels SpeedStep® technology, optimizing performance and power usage.

Standard features include a front swappable optical drive bay with CDRW/DVD combo drive, an IDE HDD drive bay, 802.11b wireless module, 10/100Mbps local area network, AC97 audio, V.92 56k modem, three USB 2.0 ports, Type-II Cardbus slot, Sony Memory Stick or Secure Digital module, and Firewire. The Kaypro C1100 weighs 6.0 lbs, is 1.18 inches thick and supports up to 1GB of memory, making it a highly powerful, highly portable desktop replacement.
